chilli paneeris a delicious mouthwatering dish that is inspired with the asian sauces using indian ingredients. It is easy and quick recipe that people can make at home in no time.

It makes a great appetizer for parties and very easy to make as well. This amazing yummy recipe can be a part of kids tiffin and you can have it either in the lunch or dinner and can make you feel happy.

You can serve the chilli paneer along with other indo chinese dishes like a fried rice or even with simple rice, chapati and paratha.

crispy paneer & bell pepper sauted in spicy chilli sauce, soya sauce along with other ingredients gives a perfect kick in terms of hotness. the sauces used in making paneer chilli are somewhat similar to what you require for making noodles.

Step wise pictorial recipe of chilli paneer

1. take a bowl and add ingredients mentioned under the head ‘for marination’ i.e. corn flour, maida, black pepper, salt and mix them.

2. cut paneer into squares and add to the bowl.

3. with the light hands, gently coat the paneer with the flour mixture. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

4. take a pan with oil and shallow fry the paneer cubes till they turn golden brown from all the sides.

5. take them out of the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper nepkin so that oil gets absorbed. keep aside.

6. the pan in which the paneer was fried, take out some of the oil so that only about 2 tbsp of oil is left. On the contrary you can take a fresh pan to prepare gravy.

7. add ginger and garlic and on low flame stir fry till it turns golden.

8. add green chillies and saute for a second.

9. add onion squares, capsicum Squares and chopped spring onion. Saute on high flame just for 2 to 3 minutes .

10. in the meantime, prepare the corn slurry. we have taken the same bowl in which paneer was marinated because there is still some residue at the base of it.

11. add all the eight ingredients mentioned under the head “for corn slurry” into this bowl and mix properly so that they remain no lumps.

12. immediately pour this slurry into the pan. Mix and cook for 2 minutes.

13. add fried paneer cubes and mix well.

14. cook for one minute.

your paneer chilli is ready.

1 cup = 240 ml

    FOR MAINATION

    • 250 grams paneer/cottage cheese
    • 2 tbsp Corn flour
    • 1 tbsp All purpose flour / maida
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper

    FOR GRAVY

    • 2 tbsp Oil
    • 1 tbsp Garlic grated
    • 1 tbsp Ginger grated
    • 2 Green Chillies
    • 10- 12 Onion squares
    • 10- 12 Capsicum squares
    • 1/4 cup Spring onion
    • Oil for frying

    FOR CORN SLURRY

    • 1/2 cup water
    • 2 tbsp Corn flour
    • 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
    • 1 tsp Red chilli sauce
    • 1/2 tsp Sugar
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1/2 tsp black pepper
    • 1 tbsp Vinegar

    Instructions
