Disneyland Paris annual pass: the details

Last summer, Disneyland Paris launched its new range of passes. The top tier pass is now €200 more than the previous one. Disney also removed perks such as a dedicated park entrance for pass holders, but the biggest change was removing the benefit of Magic Hours (allowing early/late access to parks) for the two lower tiers. Are the passes still worth it?

  • Bronze – €289 (£246)
  • Silver– €499 (£425)
  • Gold – €699 (£595)

Disneyland Paris annual pass: Bronze

This provides access to the parks and free parking on 170 days of the year. It excludes peak dates (such as school holidays) and nearly all weekends. You can visit for a maximum of two consecutive days, and it's subject to capacity. No other perks are included, which means you aren't entitled to enter during Magic Hours or gain discounts on food, photos, or merchandise.

Disneyland Paris annual pass: Silver

Permits you to access parks and free parking on 300 days of the year, including most weekends. It excludes days surrounding Halloween, Christmas and Easter. You'll also receive a 10% discount on merchandise, photos and food in restaurants, but you won't have access to Magic Hours.

Disneyland Paris annual pass: Gold

Allows access to Disneyland and free parking on any day of the year. You'll benefit from a 15% discount at restaurants and on merchandise. A Photopass is included with the price meaning you can download digital photos taken by Disney photographers. The big bonus is that 'magic hours' are included, meaning you have early access to parks and rides before official opening time.

Compare and purchase annual passes on Disneyland's site

Play around with Disney ticket combinations

If you aren't planning to visit Disneyland often, the annual pass might be redundant. But Disney also sells passes for visits between one and four days.

With one-day passes, you have two options: pay more to access both parks - Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Parks - or pay less and choose the park you want to visit most.

For two-day to four-day passes (on consecutive days), you will automatically get access to Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Parks.

We've crunched the numbers to reveal the cheapest way to purchase your passes, depending on the number of days you plan to spend in Disney and when.

Four-day visit during peak dates (summer holidays)

Saving:£96 for a family of four (August weekend)

How?Opt for the four-day two-park pass to save as much as £24 per person. This pass allows you to park hop and works out cheaper than buying four one-day, one-park passes.

Saving: £44 for a family of four

Four-day visit during off-peak dates

Saving:£100 for a family of four (January weekend)

How?Ditch the four-day two-park pass in favour of four, one-day, one-park passes to save up to £25 per person. These passes permit access to either Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios Park on each day; you cannot park hop. There's no significant downside because you could spend two days in one park and two days in the other and you can decide on the day which to enter – you don't need to choose in advance.

Three-day visit during peak dates

Saving:£90 for a family of four (July weekend)

How?Ditch the three-day two-park pass. Save by selecting three one-day, one-park passes. The upside is that you don't need to visit on three consecutive days, you can split the visits up. However, because you cannot park hop and you have an uneven number of days, you must decide which park you'd prefer to spend two of the three days in.

Top tip: Disneyland Park is bigger than the Walt Disney Studios Park, so you may want to split your time accordingly.

Three-day visit during off-peak dates

Saving: £140 for a family of four (January weekend)

How?Ditch the three-day pass. Save by choosing three one-day, one-park passes.

Two-day visit during peak dates

Saving:£92 for a family of four (July/August weekend)

How?Ditch the two-day, two-park passes. You cannot park hop, but you can spend one day in each park, splitting your time equally.

Two-day visit during off-peak dates

Saving:£107

How?Ditch the two-day, two-park passes.

Buy your tickets from the Disneyland website.

Get cheap Disneyland tickets by choosing dated passes

You can save up to £174 per family of four (for one day) by choosing dated tickets rather than undated ones during the off-peak season.

Even in peak season you could pay as much as £58 less for the family trip. It doesn’t matter if your plans change: you can get a full refund up to three days before. Undated tickets and annual passes aren’t as flexible as they sound, as you have to register the date you want to visit in advance online.

Visit in winter

Tickets unsurprisingly cost less in the winter months. When we checked, a one-day dated ticket in February half term 2025 was £374 for a family of four - that's £70 less than in August 2024 (£444). Adult Disney devotees can bag the most affordable tickets by avoiding the school holidays altogether.

Tip: It’s virtually impossible to see all of Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios in a day. So opt for a one-park ticket and save £23 per adult* if you’re only going for one day.

*Saving relates to a peak August Saturday

Book Disneyland tickets through the French website

Brits are charged a premium for Disneyland Paris tickets and stays, but you can pay like a local by booking through the French Disneyland website. When we checked the price for a one-day two-park ticket for a family of four in August, we saved £49 using the French site.

Access savings by typing the French version of the website into your address bar (https://www.disneylandparis.com/fr-fr/) and translate the page to English using the built-in Google Chrome extension (it should pop up automatically when you enter a foreign website). But do compare prices with the UK site to be sure you're getting the best deal.

Tip: If you’re booking a Disney holiday in the USA, head to disneyholidays.eu or disneyholidays.com instead of disneyholidays.co.uk for a wider variety of park tickets and prices.

Don't assume that staying in a Disney partner hotel will save you money

When we checked on Disneyland's website, Disney Hotel Cheyenne was cheaper to stay in as a family of four than any of Disney's official partner hotels that are outside of the park but within a 20 minute walk, including Ki Space Hotel & Spa, Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d'Europe, Explorers Fabulous Hotels Group, Campanile Val de France, Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe, B&B Hotel and Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne-la-Vallée. We compared prices for a one-night stay, including park tickets on the day either side, across six dates in the summer.

That doesn't mean all hotels outside Disney are more expensive. Look beyond the partner hotels, away from Disneyland's site, and you'll find cheaper options.

Tip: If you’re not staying in a Disney hotel, parking at the parks costs £27 (€30) per day, so avoid driving there if possible. If you book a Disney partner hotel (listed above) you'll pay for parking unless you book through Disneyland's website directly.

Should I book a Disneyland Paris partner hotel directly with Disney?

If you do want to book with a partner hotel, it's best to check whether you're better off booking via Disney or direct.

The Adagio Marne-la-Vallée Val d'Europe aparthotel for instance was cheaper on 20-21 July and 17-18 August direct through Disneyland Paris' site for a family of four with two-day, two-park tickets. You also get free parking.

How to Disneyland Paris on a budget in 2024 - Which? News (4)

A taxi from central Paris to Disneyland costs around £62. A quicker and cheaper way to get there is on the suburban RER. The 38-minute journey from Gare de Lyon to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy (line A) costs just £4.25 (€5) for an adult. The station is right next to the park, and there’s no need to buy tickets in advance.

What's the best way to get from the airport to Disneyland?

The 10-minute TGV train from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Marne-la-Valllée costs from £20 per adult. If you’re heading straight to the parks, alternatively, you can take Disney’s hour-long Magic Shuttle bus. One-way tickets from either Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports in Paris cost £20 (€24) per adult and £9 (€11) per child. Kids under three go free.

A cheaper alternative is by using the RER via central Paris – change at Châtelet–Les Halles.
